Governor Andrew Cuomo Asked to OK Federal Monitor Over Empire Corruption

EXCLUSIVE: New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has been asked to support the appointment of a federal monitor over corruption in New York

New York, April 5, 2013 - Since at least March 2, 2010, United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Preet Bharara, has faced the prospect that the only possibility of substantively thwarting the systemic and ever-growing public corruption in New York would have to include the appointment a federal monitor.

U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara fully understands the need for a federal monitor to address the public corruption in New York.

The Assistant Director in Charge of the New York FBI Field Office, George Venizelos, fully understands the need for a federal monitor to address the public corruption in New York.

And now, according to sources, Governor Cuomo has been formally asked to give his blessing to the appointment of a federal monitor to address New York’s corruption.

Governor Cuomo is expected to announce his position soon.

STAY TUNED... more corruption arrests coming ......

  2. Cuomo has been directly aware of the rampant problems at least since his days as AG when US SDNY Judge Scheindlin referred Eliot I. Bernstein ( Iviewit Inventor ) and perhaps other "related" cases to US Attorney and or NYAG.

That is over 4 years now.
